Thank you for that really appreciated. I'm in the north east building 10th floor and I haven't got anything yet. Was wondering if you can share ur take on the the bedroom size?? Big enough for a king size bed? Thanks

I'm not that familiar with the NE room layouts, but based on the master bedroom size of the West tower unit 09, I don't think it's meant for a king sized bed. If this helps, I measured the length of the master bedroom walls and the dimensions were 100 inches wide by 120 inches long with the south wall being 144 inches, given that this unit is at an odd angle and doesn't have square angles.

Thank you again. This waiting game is starting to be too long for us.

I think the most problematic areas in my unit were the areas around the windows (quite a few nicks and some parts weren't very flush) and the floor tiles in the walk in shower (a few dings here and there, and in my opinion, the overall tile work did not seem well done with some water pooling and some of the tiles being misshapen).
Thanks for this ! Did they admit the problems and promise to fix them? Sure hope they do ! My unit is on the 11th floor and I haven't received any update yet as far as walkthrough goes. Waiting anxiously....

So I did my walk through in the West tower today. Overall not bad, but anyone else with floor plan 09 should know that the den is significantly different from what was shown. They brought part of the west wall inwards with a little 18x27 inch nook in the southwest corner that makes the entire den a weird reverse L shape, if that makes sense. From what I was told, there will be three phases for occupancy. First will be floors 1-9 of the West and NE towers (and I assumed the podium). Second will be remaining floors for those towers, then the final phase will be the entirety of the South tower. I was told a general expected move in of mid to late October (1st phase) but I didn't ask about the other phases. I hope that helps.
Thanks for the sharing! Appreciated.

Another delay for this it seems... Now i'm hearing mid-late October. No permits from the city yet.

I did my walkthrough in the NE building last week and I was told similar information. Phasing will be floors 1-10 in NE and W tower, then remaining floors in NE and W tower, and S tower last. Mid November completion.

No major deficiencies. Mostly just scuffs and paint issues.

I was hoping someone else who did their walkthrough could chime in though. I got the light colour scheme which I understood was supposed to look like the photos on the Westbank site. Instead, my cabinets are dark brown and the Westbank rep told me that the light colour scheme has dark cabinets while the dark colour scheme has light cabinets. Can anyone else confirm if this is what you had too?

Their color scheme naming is a bit confusing. They named them according to the top cabinets. So "light" scheme has light top cabinets and dark cabinets for the rest. We chose the "dark" color scheme and chose to also have the top cabinets match the rest (an option they were offering for extra $, we got it for free at the time) instead of having them be dark, so all our cabinets are light oak reproduction (see attached pic). Hopefully that makes sense..

Thanks for the reply. I bought it as an assignment so I was just going off what the seller told me and I was expecting what was on the Westbank website. Neither colour scheme looks true to what's on the website though. Here's a picture of my "light" colour scheme without the cabinet upgrade.

Yeah, I think the website images had some post processing done to them. so in real life it won't match 100%, but I think the one I have is supposed to match the website..

Why do they leave the gap at the top of cabinets

My unit is on one of the higher floors in W tower and I have just been notified my walkthrough will be in the first week of November. But yeah, like others here have said, the rep told me none of the units are ready for move in yet because of the occupancy permit holdup. So I still don't expect to move in anytime soon after I've done my walkthrough and have the deficiencies fixed...

NE tower here, I was scheduled a walk through back in September then Westbank decided to cancel last minute. I was told to wait another 2 weeks, but still haven't heard back from them. Very disappointing.

Did my walkthrough late August. Everything was fine, no major deficiency except some paint stains etc. I was quite happy after things I heard at Telus Garden.

What pisses me off the most is the lack of communication and transparency from Westbank. For numerous times they give a date and keep pushing it back 2 weeks - 1 month. I don't think I'll ever get in another project by Westbank.
