Nearly a year since our last update, and Pinnacle International's Pinnacle on the Park has all but reached completion in downtown Vancouver. Standing tall at 18 storeys, the 137-unit Pinnacle on the Park is virtually complete, its cladding and glazing work now well into the final stages before crews dissemble from the exterior.

Designed by Bingham Hill Architects, the glass-and-spandrel exterior is a good fit within the local streetscape, the tower itself to be found at the corner of Ontario St and E 1st Ave close to Olympic Village Square. Rising high above its 5-storey podium base, the bulk of the tower sits close to the corner, thereby allowing for a large setback and subsequent rooftop patio.

Set to meet the street with a strip of ground floor retail, Pinnacle on the Park will bring some added pedestrian vibrancy to the area, the neighbourhood to benefit from its inclusion. Close to False Creek, Science World, and Main Street, Pinnacle on the Park will be a popular address for urban professionals and city lovers alike.

Aside from the aforementioned rooftop terrace, amenities will include a fitness centre, children's play area, and several lounges. Once complete, Pinnacle on the Park will be a fine addition to the downtown core.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
