Since breaking above grade in July, Pinnacle on the Park's ascent has been swift, the 18-storey residential high-rise now standing at least four storeys tall. Designed by Bingham Hill Architect for Pinnacle International, the 137-unit development is set to rise high above a five-storey podium base, the latter to host a mix of lobby space and ground-floor retail.

Located at the corner of 1st Ave and Ontario St, within easy walking distance of False Creek, Science World, and Main Street, the development will place residents within a lively downtown neighbourhood, close to transit, and many of the city's most popular attractions.

Viewed along its 1st Ave frontage above and below, the five-storey podium will feature a rooftop terrace and garden, while the indoor amenities will include a fitness centre, children's play area, and several lounges.

Part of False Creek's ongoing revitalization efforts, the replacement of an old warehouse with a bustling new condo development will help bring the neighbourhood some added pedestrian vibrancy. Once complete, Pinnacle on the Park will be a welcome addition, joining several other projects to go up in the area in recent years.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
