Five months since our last update, and Phase One of The Amazing Brentwood is now nearing completion in Burnaby. The first two towers in what will eventually be an 11-tower buildout are now receiving their finishing touches as crews hurry to wrap up exterior work and landscaping.

The Amazing Brentwood, as the name implies, is located adjacent to Brentwood Town Centre, and abuts onto the SkyTrain tracks that cross through central Burnaby. The tallest tower within the complex, at 63 storeys, is on target to become one of the tallest high-rises in a suburban setting in Canada.

The bottom of Phase One features a stacked, multi-storey podium level, which will be host (once the entire buildout is complete) to 1.1 million square feet of retail and entertainment. The largest, and first of these to debut will be a Cineplex VIP and REC Room, to be opened within the podium level of Phase One.

Speaking of the podium, a view from within highlights the impressive warren of angled glass and high ceilings that will grace the bottom of the structure. Well-located, convenient for commuters, and soon to be stocked with ample dining, shopping, and entertainment options, The Amazing Brentwood will more than likely live up to its name.
