The Richmond International Trade Centre has made significant strides in recent months since our last update. Located just southeast of Sea Island (where YVR Airport sits), the project includes a mix of components. Featuring two office towers, a luxury hotel and a retail component, Richmond International Trade Centre is a true mixed-use development.

When we last checked in on the development earlier this summer, the buildings had topped out and glazing was making progress on the exterior facades of the project. Fast forward a few months and glazing has been completed on two-thirds of the towers with the final section to be finished shortly.

Developed by MYIE Group, the development features two office towers rising 10 and 12 storeys respectively. The hotel component comprises of a 14-storey, 110-room mid-rise branded as OPUS Hotel Versante, a YOO Hotel. The project was designed by GBL Architects and features a very modern exterior that primarily consists of glass panels alternating in tint.

Upon completion, the Richmond International Trade Centre office towers will feature floor plates that offer roughly 8,500 square feet of commercial space. Due to the projects proximity to YVR airport and to the Bridgeport station on the Canada Line it will provide Richmond with another accessible addition to the area.
