Three months after The Arc began cresting above Nelson Street and Expo Boulevard, glazing on the uniquely shaped Concord Pacific development has made its debut. The 29-storey, Francl Architecture-designed condominium will contain 560 units securely held inside a meandering volume with a rectangular void punched through the middle of its lowest floors.

An expansive amenities floor, clearly delineated by its multi-storey height, oversized windows, and colourful interiors, will service residents with a suite of temptations. A grand lounge comes with a catering kitchen and a link to a sprawling outdoor patio deck. A fitness facility accompanies a sauna and steam room, while a glass-bottomed swimming pool makes full use of the dimensions created by the massive aperture.

Horizontal bands of burnt orange, white and grey currently define the spandrel pattern newly installed on the building, which is also being dressed in aqua glazing. The development's two forms, to be adjoined at their uppermost levels, boast undulating and balcony-laden edges inspired by the movement of a waving flag. The two inside vertical walls portend the project's signature hole.
