KIRKOR Architects and Planners is a prominent architectural studio serving Canadian eastern and western milieus, providing design solutions in complex site planning, mixed-use, residential and community building. KIRKOR built its successes in multiple municipalities in the Ontario, Alberta and Vancouver, chiefly working on large-site, urban intensification projects featuring mixed-use programs. The longevity and continual practice bore expertise that sets us apart and helps us cultivate a business focused on creating responsible, sustainable, and, above all, fiscally sound developments through smart growth strategies while constructing innovative and creative designs.

Since 1981 KIRKOR, then a two-person team, has grown into a national company with over 125 people in two studios, Toronto and Calgary. We have been designing positive experiences for clients and end users and growing functional and sustainable urban aesthetics whose chief objective and vision is a dedication to forging responsive, responsible and sound architecture for clients, users, the city, and communities. Design living is our method and work that sustains various typologies where people live, dwell, shop, play, and seek comfort, respite and shelter. We design large and small living, affordable and luxurious, residential, or multi-use. The fitness of each project depends on set parameters, municipal requirements, clients’ needs, design vision, environmental awareness and attitude toward regenerative futures.
