Main and Twentieth, located in Vancouver's South Main stretch, has seen construction starting to wrap up in recent weeks. Since our last update back in April 2019, work on the project has made massive strides. Since the building topped off in mid 2019, work on the cladding and exterior finishings has progressed at an impressive clip.

The project is a boutique residential development featuring 42 units in a range of sizes including one-bedroom, two-bedroom and loft apartments. Retail is planned to line the ground floor of the building which will activate the corner for both residents and passersby. Upon completion, Main and Twentieth will feature an interior courtyard complete with a zen garden and bench seating for residents who lack personal terraces.

Designed by Yamamoto Architecture for Landa Global Properties, the development features a very modern look which meshes well with much of Vancouver's 21st century architecture. The building envelope sports a clean design with an emphasis on natural light, as expansive windows prominently figure into the exterior.

Future residents of Main and Twentieth will enjoy a refreshing design and loads of natural light. In addition, residents will have easy access to the many commercial amenities that line Main Street and the area's abundant park space. As the building is nearly complete, resident occupancy should begin before spring.
