Ten weeks since our last update, and progress upon Coquitlam's tallest tower has been moving along at a steady pace. Indeed, the 49-storey 567 Clarke + Como has already sprouted several storeys above grade, its presence to be felt even at this early stage in its development.

Located in central Coquitlam, at the intersection, fittingly, of Clarke Road and Como Lake Avenue, the project will place residents in direct contact with the Millennium Line, thus providing a quick connection to the core. Close as well to Lougheed Town Centre, and the numerous shops and restaurants which that entails, 567 Clarke + Como will offer residents a life of easy, suburban convenience.

Spearheaded by Macron Developments and GBL Architects, the 49-storey mixed-use, residential tower will feature two distinct volumes - each of which will be designed in such a way as to give the impression of two separate towers. Meanwhile, down at street level, the two-volume tower will be conjoined at its base by a massive, multi-level podium - set to feature a collection of retail bays.

Close to transit, shops, restaurants, and several local parks, 567 Clarke + Como will one day be home to upwards of 500 residents spread across 364 units. Once complete, the project will no doubt be a fine addition to Coquitlam.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
