More than a month since our last update, and progress at Belford PropertiesSun Towers at Metrotown has been moving steadily along. Of note, the first floors of the largest of the two planned high-rises can been seen erupting from the top of the large, multi-storey podium base.

At 41 and 26 storeys apiece, the Sun Towers at Metrotown will represent a major influx of upwards of 600 new residents into central Burnaby, to be spread across 479 units. Known locally as the centrepiece of the "Golden Row" of condo developments now rising adjacent to the bustling Metrotown SkyTrain station, Sun Towers will be the anchor of the community.

Furthering its role as neighbourhood anchor, the Centre at Sun Towers, a 125,000 sq. ft. podium base that will be split between 70,000 sq. ft. of office space perched atop 30,000 sq. ft. of retail, is set to become a focal point. For residents, the included 24,000 sq. ft. amenity deck will feature a fitness centre, badminton court, golf simulator, 60-ft. pool, and a dining lounge.
