Vancouver’s Cambie Corridor near Queen Elizabeth Park continues to densify, with several projects transforming what used to be a street dominated by single-family bungalows into a one defined by attractive mid-rises. Recently completed or nearly complete projects in the area include Grayson, Parc Elise, Monarch At QE Park, and 35 Park West. Another project joining this list will be Chelsea by Cressey. Developed by Cressey Development Corporation, and designed by the IBI Group, the two-block project recently broke ground.

The development will consist of two 6-storey buildings which will contain 79 market residential units with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses. Common areas will include a gym, a party room, and landscaped areas with a children’s playground and an outdoor BBQ and patio. The building will achieve LEED Gold standard through such measures as water use reduction, a green roof, and energy-efficient building design.

Every unit will include access to a private balcony or a landscaped patio. Other features include quartz kitchen countertops, hardwood flooring, heated bathroom flooring, in-suite storage, and forced air heating and air conditioning.

There will be 157 car and 101 bicycle parking spaces over two levels of underground parking. The building will be located directly across from Queen Elizabeth Park, alongside the numerous shopping and entertainment options in Cambie Village. The site is also transit-accessible, with a bus stop almost directly in front, and is only a 10-minute walk to the King Edward Skytrain Station.
