Seven months since our last update, and progress at Delta Gardens in Surrey has moved ahead significantly. Consisting of 134 homes, split between 122 mid-rise condos, and 12 traditional townhouses, the Maple Leaf Homes-built, Barnett Dembak Architects-designed complex will soon be home to well over 200 residents.

Located at 11501 84th Ave in North Delta, close to numerous shopping centres, parks, and adjacent to the North Delta Rec Centre, Delta Gardens will be a prime address for suburban buyers looking for a mix of convenience and local amenities.

The timber-framed Delta Gardens is being clad in a collage of beige siding and spandrel, along with a few wood-tinted accent walls, making for a pleasant, if somewhat muted exterior appearance. While progress has been swift, their remain entire parts of the complex which have yet to receive their outer skin (below).

Units come in a mix of one-, two, and three-bedroom suites, with sizes ranging from 587-1,368 sq. ft. Prices start at $400,000 and go up to just $700,000, thereby signalling the project's relative affordability. Slated for completion by the end of the year, Delta Gardens will make for a fine addition to this suburban corner of Surrey.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
