Six weeks since our last update, and progress at Polygon Homes' Promenade at The Quay in North Vancouver has moved along significantly. Following its recent topping off, cladding installation has continued unabated, with the glass curtain wall now nearing the top of the tower.

At 14 storeys, the 117-unit Promenade at The Quay is one of the tallest structures in North Vancouver's popular Lonsdale Quay district. Adjacent to the Lonsdale Quay Market, and thus close to the waterfront and the downtown ferry, Promenade at The Quay will be a prime address for urban professionals looking to live in North Vancouver.

Clad in a mix of light-coloured, sea-foam green glass, and accented by white, undulating balconies evocative of the ocean, Promenade at The Quay has gone all in on its aquatic theme as designed by Main Street Architecture. Set to include two large retail frontages along both West Esplanade and Carrie Cates Court, the new development will also blend in nicely with the nearby market district.

Once complete, Promenade at The Quay will be a fine addition to Lonsdale, and to North Vancouver generally, its height, density, and fine grain retail component offering the perfect balance for the area.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
