Three months since our last update, and progress at 3rd and Chesterfield in North Vancouver has been moving along well. The mid-rise residential development by Anthem Properties and Rositch Hemphill Architects is now nearly complete, with only finishing exterior touches remaining.

Located, as the name implies, as the apex of 3rd and Chesterfield in Lower Lonsdale, the 5-storey, 56-unit residential block will soon welcome home upwards of 80 new residents. In addition to its residential component, a 10,000 sq. ft. retail space will be present at grade, with storefronts facing onto 3rd Street.

Moving around to the rear of the structure, it is evident that the local topography of North Vancouver has played a large part in the design of the development. To these ends, the sloping grade has been taken full advantage of, the lower levels of the building to accommodate underground parking.

All residents will be provided a generous private outdoor space, either in the form of a large balcony or terrace. Well-located, and with great upper floor views, it is more than likely that 3rd and Chesterfield will be a popular address for years to come.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
