Seven months since we last checked in at the site of Lougheed Heights in Coquitlam, and progress at the three-tower residential project by Bosa Properties and BlueSky Properties has moved along substantially. Two of the three towers have now risen close to their final height, while the third tower is now standing several storeys above grade.

Located at the intersection of North Road and Foster Ave in Burquitlam, the three towers will bring several hundred condo units to the heart of the Vancouver suburb, close to transit and the shops and restaurants of Lougheed Town Centre. Furthermore, ranging in height from 29-39 storeys, the multi-tower, high-density development represents the rapidly changing face of the neighbourhood.

Lougheed Heights will feature an impressive, 17,000 sq. ft. amenity space, complete with a pool, fitness centre, lunge, and terrace. In fact, the use of large podiums will figure heavily into the design and functionality of the development, each tower to have access to a mix of individual and shared amenity spaces to be split across all three towers.

Adjacent to the Burquitlam SkyTrain station, and thus well-connected to the core and other services, Lougheed Heights will more than likely be a popular address for those looking for a mix of convenience and affordability just outside of the city.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
