While it may yet be some time before Coquitlam's future tallest tower claims the title, 567 Clarke + Como has now more or less reached grade - a major milestone for the project by Macron Developments and GBL Architects. At 49 storeys, 567 Clarke + Como will indeed be the tallest built to date in the Vancouver suburb, the well-situated residential high-rise one day to be home to upwards of 500 residents spread across 364 units.

Framed by the snaking concrete viaduct that is the SkyTrain, the development is just steps away from Burquitlam Station, as well as a number of local shops, restaurants, and other services found within the neighbourhood. As its name suggests, 567 Clarke + Como can be found at the convergence of Como Lake Ave and Clarke Rd, in the centre of Burquitlam.

The completed development will consist of two distinct volumes, separated at midpoint by a double-height, 28th-floor amenity deck. The space will contain a fitness centre, complete with gym, sport courts, and yoga studio, in addition to music/karaoke rooms, table tennis, play rooms for kids, and two guest suites. There will also be a lounge, dining room, and outdoor terrace.

Viewed in the above rendering, the development's connection to the local transit infrastructure is very clear, 567 Clarke + Como to be a popular address for those looking for a mix of convenience and ample amenities.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
