Nearly two months since our last update, and progress at the site of the 46-storey Triomphe by Millennium Development Group and Chris Dikeakos Architects has been moving swiftly. Now standing a full 20 storeys above grade, the 340-unit residential tower will soon become a fixture of the Burnaby skyline.

Located just steps from the Gilmore SkyTrain Station, and only a short distance from Brentwood Town Centre, Triomphe joins a cluster of recent high-rises to call Burnaby home over the last few years. Well-situated for those in the market for a mix of urban and suburban living, and a quick commute in and out of downtown, Triomphe will likely be an easy sell.

Viewed above, the partially clad Triomphe rises high above a multi-level podium base, the 13,000 square foot amenity pavilion to house a pool, gym, yoga/dance studio, lounge, theatre, conference room, and outdoor terrace.

Part of the ever-changing face of Burnaby, and more generally of the Vancouver suburbs, Triomphe will soon make its mark upon Brentwood. To these ends, the completed tower will be outfitted with a dynamic lighting system that will help set it apart from the rest.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
