Ten weeks after last checking in at the site of Rize Alliance's Chris Dikeakos Architects-designed Gold House in Burnaby, and the tower's signature gilding has continued, the glitzy glazing now reaching more than halfway up the taller of the two towers that comprise the development.

Set to rise 41 and 26 storeys apiece, Gold House's Midas touch has made this a standout project for central Burnaby, the project to deliver nearly 500 units to the rapidly rising Metrotown district.

Rising high above its multi-storey podium, which will include amenity space, lobby space, and ground-floor retail, the 41-storey tower will be joined by its 26-storey sibling, along with a 6 additional townhouses - all of which will be interconnected by a series of outdoor walkways and landscaped parkland.

Viewed from afar, the gilded glazing work promises to be eye-catching, the development's unmistakeable silhouette to become a standout feature of the local skyline.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
