Two months since our last update, and progress at the site of Rize Alliance's aptly named Gold House has been moving along nicely, the gilded visage of the 41-storey, Chris Dikeakos Architects-designed tower, now all but topped off in Burnaby.

Viewed in context below, the taller of the two-tower project stands close by its diminutive counterpart, the 41-and-26-storey residential Gold House development both to be graced with the Midas touch, as their signature gold glazing continues its ascent.

Perched upon stilts, the 41-storey, 302-unit, tower will feature a multi-storey podium base that will house a mix of commercial, retail, and public amenity spaces. Visible to the left, the 26-storey, 182-unit tower will meet ground level with the addition of 6 townhomes.

With a combined 30,000 square feet of amenity space, Gold House is sure to be home to a lively local population, the development's close proximity to the SkyTrain to only increase the allure of this project for those seeking a nice mix of urban and suburban living in central Burnaby.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
