When we last visited the site of Rize Alliance's Gold House in Burnaby, the first tower in the two-tower complex was represented by a massive tabletop-like structure sprouting multi-level perimeter columns. This concrete structure has since served as the plinth for a successive set of square floor plates, which are now being covered in black and the project's signature gold glazing.

The Chris Dikeakos Architects-designed development is comprised of a 41-storey first phase and a 26-storey second phase. The tallest tower will include 302 residences and 20 commercial spaces, while the adjunct tower will contain 182 units and six townhomes.

Expansive windows and nine-foot ceiling heights come standard, except in the penthouse collection, which pushes elevations past 12 feet. With outdoor patios offering over 1,200 square feet of space, there's plenty of lounging and panoramas to be enjoyed.

The project also splits its amenity package between towers. The first phase will offer 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a furnished outdoor terrace measuring over 4,000 square feet, and a fully appointed fitness centre, lounge area, and social room. The south tower's 11,000 square feet of amenities also includes a fitness studio, with additional social, yoga and music rooms catering to the active and the creative.
