Unexpected warmth - wood siding - on the lowrise.
(There's no wood cladding on the tower podium, I don't think)
Looks like a sliding barndoor to close off the stairs up to the courtyard.

The LD cashier said the store is the smallest in the chain.

No setback from the alley will hamper development of the old gas station site.
and are those steps in the middle of that sidewalk (in a lane?) under the overhang?
