I think that's the regular floorplate forming a corner near Scotia Tower.

There's some steel attached to the 1st slab:

Another forummer at SSP said the hole in the floorplate is for the constuction elevator.

Pic by me today showing those post-tensioned cable sleeves:

Scotia Tower entrance starting to look like the original again.
Curious what the redeveloped entrance will look like.
I don't think any of the renderings have shown the Georgia-Seymour corner.

EDIT:

Googled and found this interior rendering of the renovated Scotia Tower lobby:

SCOTIA TOWER LOBBY RENOVATION: Upcoming Demolition Works

We thank you for your continued patience during the construction of VCII and the renovation of the Scotia Tower lobby.

The next phase of the renovation involves the demolition of the steel structure that encloses the lobby. The timeline below provides information on the noise and lobby access impacts that tenants can expect.

The demolition of the steel structure will occur in three steps:

Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25:

STEP ONE: ROOF REMOVAL

DESCRIPTION: removal of the roof over the two-storey structure.
NOISE: Removal of the roof will be noisy both in the lobby and in the tower.
LOBBY ACCESS: The removal work is NOT expected to affect access to the lobby.

Wednesday, August 26 – Tuesday, September 8:

STEP TWO: STEEL BEAM REMOVAL

DESCRIPTION: Removal of the steel beams that surround the structure.
NOISE: Steel deconstruction will have intermittent noise effects as the cuts are being performed.
LOBBY ACCESS: For safety, people cannot walk beneath the steel while it is being lifted. Therefore, while the steel pieces are being lifted above the interior tunnel or above the exterior hoarding, traffic control personnel will stop pedestrians.
ATM ENTRANCE CLOSURE: While the steel above the ATM vestibule is being removed, the ATM entrance must be closed. To ensure there is continuous access to the ATM machines, this work will occur between 9:30am and 3pm on Aug. 26th – 28th, during the opening hours of the branch.

Saturday, August 29: LOBBY CLOSURE (Possible extension to Monday, August 31)

DESCRIPTION: The lobby entry tunnel will be closed to allow for the removal of beams above the entry tunnel.
LOBBY ACCESS: Please access the building via the Mall Level or the Granville Street entrance during tunnel closure.
NOTE: If the removal cannot be completed on Saturday, the remaining work will be completed Monday, August 31.
If required, tunnel closures on the Monday will be scheduled to avoid high-traffic hours to minimize impacts on tenants.

Wednesday, September 9 – Thursday, September 17

STEP THREE: LEVEL TWO SLAB DEMOLITION

DESCRIPTION: Removal of the Level 2 slab
NOISE: While noise mitigation procedures will be enacted to minimize impact, please expect this demolition process to be loud in the lobby and up the tower.
LOBBY ACCESS: Pedestrian traffic through the tunnel will be stopped when there are overhead lifts or when demolition is occurring directly above the tunnel.
Mall Level and Granville Street entrances are available to tenants during tunnel closures.

Again, we thank you for your patience during construction.

Warmest regards,

and an exterior one (nothing to write home about - looks awkward).
Don't know if the lighter banding on Scotia Tower is intentional or not (?)
