I was down by the convention centre today and took these pics. The back entrance off the alley now has a TRUMP sign and is looking closer to being finished.

Residential parking garage contains three Rolls Royces (a Ghost, Dawn, and Wraith), two Lamborghinis (an Aventador and a Huracan, two Bentleys (a Continental GTC and a Bentayga), a bunch of Mercedes, Porsches, and BMWs, a few Japanese cars, and probably over 500 empty stalls

Trump Vancouver hotel to open around inauguration day
Grand opening launch party will not be until February

"The Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver will open to the public at a date around January 20, which is the day set for Trump Organization founder Donald Trump to be sworn in as U.S. president.

The hotel’s general manager, Philipp Posch, told Business in Vancouver on January 11 that his hotel is taking reservations starting on the weekend that follows Friday January 20. He said that he has not yet nailed down a date for a soft launch but that when that day comes, the hotel will quietly open its doors to the public without a ribbon-cutting event or a glitzy ceremony.

A grand-opening launch party will take place in February and may include a visit from one of the Trump family members, he said."

Trump is definitely my most favorite tower in Vancouver, its clean, classy and elegant.

I went by yesterday and all the protester's signs were cleared away. The fence is still there, though.

I wonder if our mayor still wants to get the Trump tower's name changed.

Sounds like a good idea.

I doubt that he would suggest the name change now since Mr. President Trump isn't a guy who would easily forget and forgive.
