i can see the steel rods are being installed for the fins (they're very short) and i stand by what i said. the roof seems cut-off but thanks for sharing the renderings we've all seen a thousand times.

I think those steel rods are to support the window washing track - you can see pairs of them.
Based on this model pic by Herman 176, the curtain wall will be a bit taller (a few feet?) above the top of the steel rods.
The track is above the cylindrical elevator pod, then the curtain wall extends above that.
So hopefully the "bottle opener" element is tall enough to have some presence.
