It certainly is; 288 East Hastings is almost twice as tall, but it seems that it took about the same time for it to top out.

This building already look out of date even its brand new and I don't like the idea of living in a place with no balcony.

I agree. New rental housing in Vancouver is great, but the look leaves a lot to be desired...

Simple, but pretty solid looking. Just a few extra architectural details could have improved it so much though.

Yes, it looks solid due to the exterior design makes it looks like the building is made of bricks.

Completely agree. Also, the actual building looks very different from the the renderings approved in 2014.
