Hard to say if they would or not. Most cities tend to go with dedicated rail like LRT or subways, but some don't. Toronto has streetcars and they work well there.

That would be awesome to have those streetcar lines back again. Maybe a streetcar will be the natural progression from the current 99 B-Line. It could also continue on up along Kingsway.

I've been lurking here for a while and finally registered. I wanted to give a shout out to all the great construction updates. Also, I am really looking forward to seeing this get built and IMHO will be as nice if not nicer than Vancouver House.
