A rezoning application for 5910-5962 Cambie Street in the Oakridge neighbourhood has been submitted to the City of Vancouver, promising to bring elevated residential appeal to the area. Featuring several components including a hotel, a residential building, artist live-work units and ground floor retail, the proposed development encompasses a true mixed-use program. The application for this development is being considered under the Cambie Corridor Plan.

The residential component of the development will be housed in a 29-storey building 85 metres high. In total, there will be 168 units in the building with a mix of sizes, including 99 one-bedroom units, 46 two-bedroom units, and 23 three-bedroom units. In addition, there will be ten live-work units in a separate part of the building.

The hotel component of the development will fill the other 15-storey building and include 270 rooms. Both buildings will sit on a shared five-storey podium and the ground floor will serve as a lobby and restaurant for the hotel as well as commercial retail amenities.
