One Central, a new residential project located in Surrey, has seen a flurry of construction overtake its site in recent months. Located just off the corner of 104th Avenue and University Drive, One Central is primed to be Surrey's tallest residential building upon completion. Billed as luxury living with an urban flair, this development is sure to add to Surrey's burgeoning core neighbourhood.
Rising 44 storeys and featuring 550 units, One Central is quite a large building. Those 550 units will be offered in a mix of different sizes and floor plates. For future residents of One Central, amenities are aplenty. A state-of-the-art fitness centre and yoga studio will be offered along with a lounge with an outdoor terrace and an indoor lounge on the 44th floor called the "One Club" offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Developed by Aoyuan International and designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects, One Central features a very sleek and modern aesthetic. With a clear emphasis on glass, many residents of this project will be provided with great outdoor views. Clean edges line the building in a beige-coloured finish offering a contemporary exterior expression.
Future residents of One Central can participate in a car-free and walkable lifestyle with the development located a short distance from the Expo Line's Surrey Central Station. Additionally, many commercial amenities are offered directly across the street at Central City Shopping Centre.
