Work on Chard Development's The Yukon is progressing well. The mixed-use development is another exciting addition to Vancouver's Mount Pleasant Industrial Area, a neighbourhood undergoing a dynamic transformation. One-storey industrial buildings and surface parking lots are being replaced by modern offices, artists' spaces, and light industrial buildings. Recently-completed projects include The Lightworks, with more under construction, including the MEC Flagship store, Second+Main, and the tech campus st 102 East 4th Street.

Designed by Proscenium Architecture & Interiors, the building at the corner of Yukon Street and West 6th Avenue will include over 48,000 square feet of strata office and light industrial space across four floors. The Yukon will replace a one-storey building that housed the 3 Vets store. The building's massing is divided into two sections, which step back on the north and south elevations. Each floor will also have access to landscaped rooftop patios.

There will be three levels of parking, as well as secured bike parking and shower facilities. Loading and parking will be located in the lane. The Yukon will also be easily accessible via public transit and boasts an impressive 98-point Walk Score.
