A recent addition to the ever-growing Vancouver skyline has just been completed. Concord Pacific's The Arc, known for its distinctive inverse "U" configuration, was finished in the last few weeks, marking a notable architectural inclusion to the city centre.

Located within the booming Yaletown neighbourhood, The Arc stands at a height of 29 storeys. 588 units have been included, and upon full occupancy it will soon be home to over 800 residents. Due to its close proximity to the amenity-rich Yaletown, as well as the Granville Skytrain, The Arc is an ideal home for urban professionals.

More than just a pretty face, The Arc features an impressive nighttime light display, the natural "ribbing" of the structure forming the perfect platform for a series of stacked, horizontal light strips. Furthering its intrigue, yet another signature feature on tap at The Arc is the suspended, glass-bottom pool, which offers residents a unique take on the condo swimming pool.

Designed by Francl Architecture, The Arc features an eye-catching exterior, its sculptural quality matched by its aforementioned extra inclusions. Featuring a mostly glass glazing, the exterior also includes multi-coloured spandrel panels giving the building a very visually pleasing look.

Meanwhile, down at street level, The Arc features a plethora of user-friendly hard and soft landscaping with freshly planted trees and places to sit and hang out. The Arc is an excellent addition to the City of Vancouver and will be for many years to come.
