Coming soon to Burnaby's booming Metrotown district, Polaris by Transca Development, Grosvenor, Citimark, and IBI Architects, will eventually deliver 313 residential units spread across 36 storeys. Scheduled for completion by 2021, Polaris at Metrotown is now deeply in the excavation phase, the tower's lower levels soon to rise.

Located at 6699 Dunblane Ave in central Burnaby, close to Metrotown Town Centre, Kingsway, and the Royal Oak SkyTrain station, Polaris will place its residents within easy walking distance to several local amenities and services. Convenient thus for commuters and shoppers, Polaris will offer a nice blend of urban and suburban living.

With prices ranging from $760,000-$1,730,000, Polaris will capture the mid to high range of the condo market, especially when prices are adjusted for the suburbs. Units will vary in size from 609-1,568 square feet.

Building amenities will include a car share service, electric car charging stations, bicycle storage, a fitness centre, communal garden, and an outdoor terrace with a fire pit. Once complete, Polaris at Metrotown will be a fine addition to central Burnaby.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
