Brenhill Developments' 8X on the Park is finally rising above grade. Designed by GBL Architects, the 35-storey mixed-use tower will bring market strata and rental residential units. The building will also include retail spaces and a daycare facility.

Overlooking Emery Barnes Park, the building will contain 119 secured market rental apartments. The rental unit mix will consist of 17 studio, 56 one-bedroom, 36 two-bedroom, and 10 three-bedroom apartments. Rental amenities will include a fitness centre, a meeting room, a pet washing station, an indoor/outdoor amenity lounge area and an outdoor terrace overlooking the park.

The strata unit mix will consist of 25 studio, 157 one-bedroom, 50 two-bedroom, and 46 three-bedroom units for a total of 278 units. Strata amenity space will be located on the 34 floor offering sweeping views of the city. There will be a fitness centre, an outdoor deck with raised beds for urban agriculture, and spaces for outdoor eating and lounging.

Seven levels of underground parking will house 236 car and 495 bike parking spaces. The building is located within minutes of dozens of shops, restaurants, cultural venues, and Vancouver's business district. The first floor will contain 3,510.0 sq. ft. of commercial space for retail and restaurant uses, and the daycare will occupy over 5,000 sq. ft. on the first and second floors.
