Two months since our last update, and demolition at the future Landmark on Robson development by Asia Standard International International Group and Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership has progressed nicely. The final remains of the former Empire Landmark Hotel are now almost gone, the iconic tower today a relic of the past.

The 32- and 31-storey tower duo to be known as Landmark on Robson will soon take occupancy upon the site, the project to breathe new life into this bustling downtown corridor.

The development will welcome more than 450 residents spread across 300 units, the "twin" towers to be connected at their base via a continuous, multi-storey podium with retail at grade.

Thus while one chapter ends, and a new one begins, the cycle of life in the ever-changing west coast city continues. Landmark on Robson will serve the area well, just as its predecessor a generation ago.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
