The 15-storey Alfa residential high-rise in Richmond has risen another few floors since our last update from April. The 109-unit development now stands at least six storeys above grade, leaving just nine to go before topping off.

Rising high above its wide-set, multi-storey podium base, the 15-storey Alfa will consist of several different volumes and heights, leaving plenty of room for rooftop gardens and terraces. For its part, the over-sized podium will also double as an above ground parking garage with retail at grade.

Located at 8151 Anderson Rd, close to the corner of No. 3 Rd and Granville, Alfa will provide easy access to the the Brighouse SkyTrain station, along with the many restaurants and big box stores that populate most of central Richmond. Close as well to the CF Richmond Centre, Alfa will likely appeal to those looking for a mix of condo living within a deeply suburban setting.

Once complete, Alfa will make for an excellent addition to the neighbourhood, the Richmond skyline still very much on the rise.

SkyriseVancovuer will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
