Construction is well underway at Cressey Development Group and Yamamoto Architecture’s rental complex at Commercial Drive and 18th Ave. The underground portion of the building is complete and work is progressing on the first floor.

The LEED Gold-targeted project will eventually have 6- and 3-storey rental buildings connected by a bridge, and a 3-storey infill building and the Conrad Myers heritage house onsite. The rental portion of the project will contain 110 units, with 31 studio, 38 one-, 30 two-, and 11 three-bedroom units. The infill townhouse building will contain 2 three-bedroom market townhouse units, and the Conrad Myers house will also contain 2 three-bedroom market units. Originally a major point of contention for the project, several mature trees have been retained, and other amenities include a children’s play area, outdoor dining space, amenity room, and garden space.

The project is well-served by transit, with access to the 20 bus right outside, and the Commercial-Broadway Skytrain station 1km away. Nearby community amenities include Trout Lake Community Centre and John Hendry Park, only 300 metres away, and Clark Park, only 400 metres away.
