More than a year since our last full update, and progress at the site of the Imperial Metrotown by Amacon has been moving along well. On target to become home to 169 residential units by 2019, the 26-storey, tower-and-townhouse development now stands roughly 20 storeys above grade with cladding work not far behind.

Located at the corner of Imperial and Dunblane in central Burnaby, just steps away from the Metropolis at Metrotown shopping centre, and both the Metrotown and Royal Oak SkyTrain stations, the project will be highly convenient for residents looking for a balance of urban and suburban living.

Comprised of a mix of high-rise and and more traditional townhouse units, Imperial seeks to please a wide variety of buyers, offering a spectrum of unit sizes, layouts, and configurations.

Part of the ongoing building boom now taking place across Burnaby, and concentrated in transit-friendly pockets such as Metrotown and the Kingsway corridor, Imperial is very much on-trend, providing easy access to downtown with a (relatively) more affordable price point.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
