One of the most photographed projects on the Vancouver Forum, the 157-metre, 49-storey Vancouver House by Bjarke Ingles has quickly become one of the city's most iconic structures. Captured below in a series of artistically inspired shots, Vancouver House assumes a completely different look from every angle.

Viewed above in close-up, Vancouver House's cubist-inspired exterior gives the tower a deeply textured exterior aesthetic, the cutaway forms allowing for panoramic views from within.

Looking up, the effect is only amplified further, the shadow effect giving an extra punch to the textural quality of the tower.

Taken as a whole, the tower assumes a striking, almost gravity defying character, its side profile offering no end of interesting visual trickery. Once complete, should its ascent be any guide, Vancouver House will likely prove to be a fan favourite for years to come.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
