Six months since our last update, and progress at the site Millennium Development Group's 46-storey Triomphe has been moving along well, the 340-unit residential tower today standing nearly ten storeys above grade.

The bulk of the tower will sit atop a sizeable, three-level, 13,000 square-foot amenity pavilion, which will eventually be home to an outdoor pool and terrace, alongside a gym complete with a yoga/dance studio, a fully-equipped social room and lounge, an entertainment centre, and a business/conference room.

Designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects, the tower portion of the development will be outfitted with a dynamic exterior lighting system, which will give the project a considerable amount of visual interest.

For now, however, locals will have to wait several more months to see the project reach its full height, the completed Triomphe to place approximately 450 new residents within walking distance of the Gilmore SkyTrain Station in central Burnaby.

Once complete, Triomphe will be a welcome addition to Burnaby, the rapidly rising Vancouver suburb well-served by rapid transit and local amenities and services.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
