Rising fast in Richmond, the next portion of the five-phase Concord Gardens by Concord Pacific is now well underway since our last update. Set to become a massive, master-planned residential development at the intersection of Garden City Rd and Sea Island Way, Concord Gardens is a transformative project, part of Richmond's ongoing urban redevelopment and intensification.

Comprised of a total of six buildings of various heights and densities, Concord Gardens will represent a sizeable influx of new residents to north Richmond, the 1,200-unit development situated amidst a high concentration of retail and other services, including easy access to Bridgeport SkyTrain Station.

Featuring multiple volumes and heights, the configuration of the buildings on-site will allow for the inclusion of generous rooftop amenity spaces, including gardens and patios.

Already having become a large fixture upon the local landscape, Concord Gardens will eventually have the look and feel of a complete neighbourhood unto itself, filled in with the addition of 25,000 square feet of indoor amenities, including a pool, fitness centre, and theatre room. Outside, families will be sure to make use of the 75,000 square-foot park, complete with meandering walking paths, and a full tree canopy, Concord Gardens to be a welcome addition to the area.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
