In the eleven months since our last update, progress at the site of Solterra Group of Companies' 30-storey Milano tower in Burnaby has been moving along swiftly, the topped-off, 176-unit residential development today all but complete.

Stark white with dark glazing, Milano stands out against the blue Burnaby skyline, the Brentwood-area development but the latest in a slew of similarly sized projects either recently completed or in-progress in the vicinity.

Viewed in detail above, the Milano will soon be home to a mix of traditional condos and live/work units, the three-storey podium base to feature full array of amenity spaces adjacent to the lobby, including a fitness room, lounge, steam room, and bike repair station.

Outside, the addition of a sprawling, 20,000 square-foot terrace, complete with fire pit, open-air kitchen, and movie theatre, will more than likely be a draw for residents and their guests all year long thanks to Vancouver's temperate climate.

SkyriseVancouver will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
