Excavation is now well underway at 3594 Main Street, where Landa Global Properties has partnered with Yamamoto Architecture to design and build a four-storey residential development. The boutique mid-rise, Main & Twentieth, will contain 42 units, including one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and loft homes.

The contemporary building will be lined with ground-level retail facing Main Street, with loft residences oriented towards 20th and the rear. Most homes are equipped with windows on two sides, providing an ample amount of airflow and natural light to the living spaces. Homes on the ground floor emphasize loft-style living on split levels, with entry provided via the street or a private yard in the back.

The centre of the building will be home to an open-air courtyard with an abundance of green space, seating areas and a Zen garden. The courtyard is influenced by Roman and Chinese design principles, employing the concept as a way to establish community connections within the building.
