A new three-tower residential development pushes Burnaby's skyline upwards and outwards, with construction just now launching above grade. Designed by IBI Group for Cressey Development Group, Kings Crossing is poised to bring 803 homes to 7350 Edmonds Street, where a Value Village had been located.

The towers top out between 28 and 36 storeys and contain one- to three-bedroom homes, ranging from 543 to 1,200 square feet. Each residence includes open-concept living rooms with over-height ceilings, wide-plank wood laminate flooring, and outdoor patios. Units in the penthouse collection feature ceilings ten-foot-six in height, marble or limestone-clad bathrooms, and two parking stalls with exterior storage.

The development comes with a whack of recreational and entertainment-focused amenities, including an open-air theatre and an indoor sports court. A state-of-the-art fitness centre, fireside lounge, and a sprawling podium rooftop features garden plots, a children's play area, and an outdoor fire pit.

A string of ground-level retail serves to animate the perimeter of the site with a cafe, bank, supermarket and other professional services.
