It's been six months since we looked at the construction status of RiverSky, a new two-tower development by Bosa Properties in New Westminster. At that time, the concrete structure had just sprouted above Quayside Drive, with the building now soaring past the podium levels to begin forming the tower floor plates.

Composed of 33- and 28-storey volumes, RiverSky will hold 285 and 234 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. From a fitness room and entertainment lounge to a plethora of outdoor spaces, residents have access to a diverse array of amenities. The ground floor of the five-storey parking podium will contain multiple retail bays, complementing the shops and restaurants on offer at the adjacent River Market.

The two buildings come to a vertical culmination with sweeping roofs and "lantern-like penthouse expressions," describes NSDA Architects. The podium serves as a "ships promenade deck" for outdoor amenity spaces. The complex is proposed to be connected to the McInnes overpass and the SkyTrain station, while another link creates a dedicated route of access to the River Market.
