1043129 BC Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to restore and retain the front façade of a fire damaged heritage “C” Building and develop a new four-story mixed use building consisting of:

• retail, at first floor and 18 rental dwelling units onsecond, third and fourth floor;
• a proposed Floor Space Ratio (FSR) of approximately2.98 (12,032.5 square feet);
• a proposed height of approximately 45.14 feet; and
• two surface parking spaces, having vehicular accessfrom the lane
• Under the C-2C zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

It will be good to see this heritage building revitalized; it's been in current boarded-up condition for at least 4 years.
