The City of Vancouver is reviewing a proposal to amend the CD-1 (337) (Comprehensive Development) District By-law for this site to allow for an increase to the permitted floor area by approximately 631 sq. feet.
The amendment would allow for the addition of mezzanine space in the auditorium of the 2000 Japanese Hall.
The additional floor area would be entirely contained within the existing building and no change would occur to the 1928 heritage Japanese Hall.
