Surrey–Newton–Guildford LRT Project

The Surrey–Newton–Guildford Light Rail Transit (LRT) is the first of two phases in the South of Fraser Rapid Transit Network. It will be an integral new connection to the regional transportation system and will support the current and future transportation needs for Surrey’s growing population.

The project will introduce modern, street-level light rail transit along King George Boulevard and 104 Avenue, connecting Surrey City Centre, Guildford, and Newton with high-quality rapid transit. The project will also introduce the first light rail transit system in British Columbia.

I can see Guildford will become another blooming Brentwood Center for being so close to both rapid transit system and freeway.

This is what the Surrey LRT and Surrey revival is doing to the prices of condos in the area of Whalley. This condo was only $300K about a year or so ago: https://www.strawhomes.com/mls/1104-14820-104-avenue-north-surrey-guildford-condos-r2254351/ The price now is over $500K

Took these pics today, if this car would be the real look and size for the future LRT in Surrey, I'm not impressed, its short and narrow. its almost half the length and width compare to the current Skytrain cars. They might shorten the car on purpose since its only for the show but I just worry about the width.
