I don't really have any examples that spring to mind, there's plenty of different styles that could work. I think extra height would certainly help. Mostly though personally I think the architecture looks cheap and uses gimmicks to try and pass as decent, such as exposed concrete, coloured...

It's too bad that we're going to lose some beautiful homes in the process of densifying.

And in a lot of places, single family homes are just being replaced by even bigger single family homes. Especially on the west side.

Yeah, they're the first buildings you see after exiting the trainstation, and that's a pretty prominent corner for drivers as well. The intersection is going to be a hub for so many different things, would have been nice to have some architecture that reflects the intersections importance.

Personally I think the old facade is pretty cool, especially the crest. In the renders and models though it doesn't look like they'll be keeping it

Simple, but pretty solid looking. Just a few extra architectural details could have improved it so much though.

It's a shame that the condos being built right at Cambie and King Ed are by far the worst on the corridor in my opinion.
