Parcel 13, River District, 3338 Sawmill Crescent, Vancouver

A stroke of colour for South Vancouver! I dig it.

    601 Beach Crescent | 171.59m | 55s | Pinnacle | GBL Architects

This will look so epic across from Vancouver House. Can't wait!

    Vancouver, 1001 Kingsway

Cool little building. I like it!

    Landmark on Robson | ?m | 32s | Asia Standard | MCM Partnership

Two towers as generic as this don't deserve to keep the name "Landmark"

    510 W Broadway | 28.35m | 7s | W.T. Leung Architect

I know with its heavy weight it will be fine, but something about that CAT at ground level parked slightly over the edge of the pit... just looks sketchy to me.

    Vancouver House | 156.96m | 49s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

Is it just me, or does anyone else think those top floors on the shorter building are going to get crazy amounts of noise? There's essentially a freeway running by just outside their window.

    Vancouver, 701 West Georgia Street

It looks sharp, I like it. I wonder if this is being built for Apple? It fits their store design

    1698 West Georgia Street | 99m | 33s | Anthem | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Are we ever packing these new buildings close to each other... downtown Van is turning into Manhattan!

    Vancouver, 996 Kingsway, Windsor Views

Interesting concept! I really like the skinny cafe at the bottom

    The Arc | 88m | 29s | Concord Pacific | Francl Architecture

This gets cooler every time I see it!

    MEC Flagship | ?m | 3s | Beedie Development | Proscenium

Nice looking building. MEC is one company Vancouver should be proud of, they sell great quality products

    1810 Alberni Street | 64m | 21s | Landa Global | Rafii Architects

Yeah this is a really neat little building, great addition to downtown!

    1500 Robson Street | 64m | 21s | London Life | IBI Group

Those pictures had we worried that they were tearing down Sura! Thankfully, it looks like Sura is right next to the building being demolished. That place has some of the best Korean food in town.

    Amazon Development Centre/The Post | ?m | ?s | QuadReal | MCM Partnership

A great example of keeping the old and adding something new. Can't wait to see this come to life.

    Landmark on Robson | ?m | 32s | Asia Standard | MCM Partnership

I can't say I'll miss the Landmark much, but I wish they could have just knocked this thing down with explosives. This demolition technique they are using is moving at a snail's pace. Looking back at the update photos from May it hardly looks any different

    118-150 Robson Street | 88.39m | 29s | Amacon | GBL Architects

I like this. Nice addition to the neighbourhood.
  17. G

    1500 West Georgia | 133m | 43s | Bosa | Buro Ole Scheeren

Any updates about this one? Hope it's still happening.
  18. G

    601 Beach Crescent | 171.59m | 55s | Pinnacle | GBL Architects

I can't wait to see this standing next to Vancouver House. With all these cool new proposals, we're slowly getting rid of our reputation for boring buildings. Downtown Van is going to look awesome in 5 years time!

    The Independent | ?m | 21s | Rize Alliance | Acton Ostry

Funny how the sign outside Freshii says "front doors open Spring 2018"... pretty sure that has already come and passed!
