  1. Rising Mist

    BURNABY | Gilmore Place | 3 towers | 217 m | 64, 51, 43 Fl

That's going to be quite the collection of highrises. It'll rival the Metrown skyline.
  2. Rising Mist

    Joyce | 88m | 30s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

It's a ways away yet, but it'll be nice to see the facade go up. I want to see how the wavy pattern looks in real life.

  9. Rising Mist

    833 West Pender Street | 42.37m | 13s | E.G.C. | Studio One

It's a sharp little building. I'd like to see more of these around Vancouver.
  10. Rising Mist

    1698 West Georgia Street | 99m | 33s | Anthem | Kohn Pedersen Fox

That would be my bet as well. Sight lines aren't really much of an issue there.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was higher in Vancouver given the cost of housing.
  12. Rising Mist

Vancouver, Grand, Green Oak Development, 138 E 8th Ave

Nice. I like these small human scaled projects.

If I recall there are around two people per unit on average in Vancouver, so maybe more like 6,000 residents, but even 6K is massive.
  14. Rising Mist

    Avenue One | 53.64m | 18s | Concord Pacific | GBL Architects

Looks good. I imagine the units won’t be cheap.
  15. Rising Mist

    The Butterfly | 179m | 57s | Westbank | Revery Architecture

I didn't know this had started construction, but that's awesome.
  16. Rising Mist

    1754-1772 Pendrell Street | 58m | 21s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

The side with the balconies looks great, the other side....not so much.
  17. Rising Mist

    1698 West Georgia Street | 99m | 33s | Anthem | Kohn Pedersen Fox

It's looking that way. We just need a couple supertalls, and we're good to go ;)
  18. Rising Mist

    1684 Alberni Street | 117m | 39s | Westbank | Bing Thom

Me too. Very retro funky looking, though I do love the new proposal.
