One of the largest masterplanned projects ever undertaken in the Lower Mainland continues to take shape in Richmond, where Concord Pacific is instilling their design principles with a new multi-tower residential development called Concord Gardens. Construction of the five-phase development has already produced the first components of the transformative scheme, giving buyers an early look at the future neighbourhood's promised potential.

The masterplan establishes six building footprints on the property just south of Sea Island Way at Garden City Road. The first two towers on the northwest quadrant of the block, introducing roughly 260 units, were completed in 2016. Since then, the second phase on the northeast quadrant has received most of the attention from construction crews. Dubbed Park Estates, the succeeding development offers a comparable number of units.

The third phase — Central Estates — contains 128 units across a smaller building envelope and is scheduled for completion in spring 2018. The penultimate phase will climb at the southeast corner of the site. Known as Park Estates II, the 15-storey building of 218 units is expected to be complete in fall 2019. That only leaves the 275-unit South Estates as the final phase of Concord Gardens, occupying the southwest lot.

Altogether, the lands are giving way to 1,200 units with over 25,000 square feet of amenities. 'The Diamond Club' will include a swimming pool, games room, private theatre, fitness centre, bowling alley, and badminton court. A 70,000-square-foot community park, situated between the two Park Estates phases, will become a natural play and recreational space.
